Aleksandr Khramouchin (cello) & Sofja Gülbadamova (piano) will perform work by Servais and contemporaries.
Arte Amanti is a Chamber music festival that wants to present international and Belgian musicians at places outside the main cultural scene. So it is a unique opportunity to hear these musicians performing.
The Belorussian cellist Aleksandr Khramouchin is a laureate of the famous Tchaikovsky Competition, cellist of the Aviv string quartet and cello-solo of the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg. The Russian pianist Sofja Gülbadamova won amoung others the international Poulenc Piano competition and the International Rosario Marciano Competition in Vienna.
Both artists are also developing an international career as soloists. They insist to play music by Servais in his native town as a tribute to one of the greatest cello virtuosos in history. This magnificent duo makes an astonishing impression with the most refined combined play and impressive virtuosity, always for the benefit of their musical ideas.
