Servais died exactly 150 years ago. His native town Halle does not let it go unnoted!
The cellist from Halle died on 26 November 1866. Exactly 150 years later his death will be commemorated by a ceremony in the Saint-Martin’s Basilica. In that same church Servais put his first steps in music.
