Servais’ son-in-law
Ernest Van Dyck married Servais’ youngest daughter, Augusta Servais. As a singer he was an excellent interpreter of operas by Wagner for about thirty years. He performed in all major European opera houses, among others in France, England, Germany, the Netherlands, Romania, Monaco and Russia. He also went on concert tours to the United States, four times.
